Rackside

Privacy

Rackside stores the information needed to manage approved access.

Account and organization records

The portal stores names, email addresses, organization memberships, permissions, site associations, sign-in credentials or provider identifiers, and expiring sessions. Microsoft handles the Microsoft sign-in process.

Security and activity

Activity records include sign-ins, downloads, and administrative changes. Security processing uses connection information for rate limits. Portal activity metadata is retained for at most 90 days. Account and site records, including disabled accounts, remain stored for access management. Contact the Rackside owner about corrections or removal under your organization’s policy.

Device traffic

The portal does not archive PLC programs, device traffic, or engineering-tool payloads. Support connection metadata is managed by the broker and is visible only through authorized associations.

Email and recovery

Sign-in codes and invitations are delivered to approved email addresses through the configured mail service. Codes expire and can be used once. Passkeys use your device or security key; biometric data is not sent to Rackside.

Questions
